Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project
We are working with the team from Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project to help save and protect dolphins. Founded by Richard (Ric) O’Barry on Earth Day, April 22, 1970, the organization aims to educate the public about captivity and, where feasible, retire and/or release captive dolphins.

Meet Rocky
Rocky was taken from the wild and forced to perform in a traveling dolphin circus. He was later sold to the Melka Excelsior Hotel in North Bali where he spent 10 years confined to a small swimming pool. Since being rescued in 2019, Rocky has gained weight and strength in the crystal clear waters of the Umah Lumba Center.
The experts from the Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project evaluated Rocky for release and on September 3, 2022, he was set free. Help support their future rescues by adopting Rocky today.
